McNamara's Automotive Service was established in Lowell Massachusetts during the month of May
1994.
Originally founded as a partnership between James McNamara Sr. and his son Brian McNamara. We were first
located on Dutton Street within the historic mill district of Lowell, Massachusetts. After only 10 months, our reputation
in the community grew our business so quickly our facility was no longer adequate. In March 1995 we relocated to Arlington
Street in neighboring Dracut Massachusetts. This afforded us the building space needed to support our growing customer
base. We appriciated the fact our customers were very willing to travel to us for their automotive repair
needs, however we also recognized that for the majority of our customers we could do better. So on May 1, 2007 McNamara's
Automotive Service happily moved back to the downtown area of Lowell. Now located at 159 Perry Street, only 5 minutes
from where we started 13 years ago. Our new repair facility provides us with our main repair shop and customer service
office as well as an additional 5,000 square feet of shop space to allow us to handle the added workloads during our exceptionally
busy times. We are looking forward to using this location to continue the impeccable service we provide for many years
to come.
